Melbourne alternative rock band
Gretchen
Lewis
have jumped on the indie music motorcade
that is Targa Tasmania: The Game.
Former
Tasmanian Delsinki has teamed up with Jason
Nehill to produce spiralling punchy vocals.
Accompanied by Annette’s haunting keyboard
melodies, Alex’s saxy hooks and Ricky's
punishing beats. Their electrifying sound
stands apart from everything else that's
out there at the moment and they'll be even
harder to miss as you're racing to beat the
clock in Targa Tasmania: The Game.
Check out the
comic book
teaser

package that
Gretchen
Lewis
has put together, or pickup a copy from any

Northern Tasmanian band
The Dirty
Love,
have signed on to be part of Australian
gaming history in Targa Tasmania: The
Game, but they’re no strangers to the
lime light.
The Dirty
Love
have played alongside Magic Dirt, The
Casanovas, Mammal, The Getaway Plan and
After the Fall to name a few, and have
picked up spots on the ’07 Falls Festival
and 09’ Falls Festival on the main stage.
You’ve seen them on Channel V and Rage,
you’ve heard them on Edge and FBI radio,
now is your chance to experience them in a
whole new way while racing in Targa
Tasmania: The Game.

Lincoln le Fevre
and the Insiders
sign on as part of the growing indie music
scene behind Targa Tasmania: The Game.
Built upon long-term work starting many
years ago, Lincoln’s songs speak heavy
thoughts and truths that are undeniably
relatable. With a voice that draws you in,
intense as it is melodious, make no
mistake, Linc le Fevre is an artist with
musical integrity and a sense of honesty
placed well in his music.
Linc and the Insiders have rolled up their
sleeves and belted out some awesome tracks
for their debut album,
30 Watt
Heart.
You can find this album on the iTunes
Store and we think you’ll agree, they
make a great addition to the
game.

Northern Tasmania jumps into the mix with
Devonport band
Novella
signing on to be part of Targa Tasmania:
The Game.
This talented group of lads in their early
twenties are one of the hardest working
bands in Tasmania, writing and rehearsing
their sets most nights of the week and
playing regular gigs on a fully-booked
schedule for months at a time.
Novella’s original “alternative rock pop”
sound is textured on record and blistering
onstage. Their shows are energetic and
original and their highly anticipated debut
EP, recorded by Sydney based Producer Greg
Stace, is available online through
iTunes.

Continuing the rich indie rock theme of
Targa Tasmania: The Game, Hobart
band
Red Rival
has agreed to provide songs from their up
coming album as part of the game’s
soundtrack.
In December 2006, Red Rival won Triple J
Unearthed. They played the dusk slots at
the Falls Festival and were the only
Tasmanian rock band invited to play the
inaugural Southern Roots Festival alongside
Gomez, Wolfmother and the Pixies.
Most of 2009 has had Red Rival locked down
in the studio recording their
full-length
debut
album.
We look forward to racing around the
Targa stages listening to this awesome
up and coming band.

Hard hitting Tasmanian alternative rock
band
EJECTER
have agreed to provide songs for
Targa Tasmania: The
Game.
Their unique song writing style, both
powerful and emotive, will provide a great
backdrop to one of the most unique racing
games in years. They will capture the
attention of players in the same way they
have captivated audiences over the past 18
months.
The
EJECTER
boys have a dream to bring their unique
brand of music to the rest of Australia and
beyond. The willingness to do what it takes
to get their music to the people is the
cornerstone to their involvement with this
exciting new game and is another step on
their journey.
Their live sound can be heard in pubs and
arena's alike and they have the potential
to be one of the great bands of our
time.

Indie band
Enola Fall
have signed on to provide songs for
Targa Tasmania: The
Game.
There is a groundswell of fascination
around Enola Fall, a growing rumble of
excitement and energy that is spreading
outwards from the group’s native Tasmania.
People really, really like it when Joe
sings. There are bits when he sounds like
he’s crawling into your ear and whispering
images and feelings straight into the
centre of your brain. Then everything
explodes and Enola Fall come slamming in
like hell’s own harp; Joe starts screaming
those high bits and the top of your head
feels like it’s going to come off.
But of course that’s not really the
point... The point is that Joe is a hell of
singer, and Enola Fall are a hell of a
band.
Their new album
Glorious Five
Year Plan
is also one hell of record. Aloof,
crystalline indie pop scarred with cabaret
piano, horns and churning guitars. Strange
soviet imagery and vivid lyrics... like
postcards from a dream.

3 piece (sometimes 4 piece) band
The highLows
have signed on to be part of
Targa Tasmania: The Game.
With an emphasis on writing powerful
melodic and at times “anthemic” rock songs,
they’re often described as “rambunctious”
yet focused. The highLows boast an edgy, no
nonsense sound which has the ability to
hook the listener in very quickly.
Rising out of the ashes of former Hobart
band Sir Veto, the highLows band members
bring together an enviable pedigree, having
supported the likes of The Tea Party, Cold
Chisel, Grinspoon and Silverchair. As well
as being former JJJ unearthed winners.
Their first album “No Space, No Time” was
released in late 2008 with the band culling
an extensive back catalogue of songs down
to a final 14. They are slowly building a
reputation as a powerful live act with the
ability to deliver tight performances with
high energy, while never losing sight of
giving the audience what they came for!
The highLows have settled into their niche
with verve and you can expect to hear a lot
more from them in
Targa Tasmania: The
Game.
