How can I help?
This is a very community based game with
connections nestled deeply in the
Australian culture and we're always on
the lookout for people to help.
At the moment we're focused on getting
the word out about the game via grass
roots and word of mouth is the best way
to do this. So tell your friends about
the game, talk about it on forums, join
the Facebook
fan
page
and suggest it to your friends or follow
us on
Twitter
and retweet news items.
The more you spread to word about this
game, the greater the community behind it
will be and best help you can give us
right now.

number of course changes over the years
and has seen several thousand people
compete in the event with millions of
spectators worldwide.

to official Targa Tasmania website
here.
When will the game be released?
The short answer is when its done!
The long answer is we are targeting a
release during Q2 2010, however there may
be a demo available in the lead up to
this years Targa Tasmania rally starting
on April 27th 2010.

How do you compete as the navigator?
In the same way you compete as a
navigator in the real world rallies, by
calling the corners for the driver. The
driver of the car can be either an AI
driver or another person playing the
game, allowing for some really innovative
co-op multiplayer action.
Will there be a European release?
We are distributing the game digitally
rather than the traditional bricks and
mortar store method so yes you can expect
a release in Europe.
Will this be on Console or PC?
There are 3 phrases to the release plan
for Targa Tasmania: The Game.
1) At launch the game will be available
for PC (Windows and OS X)
2) Later it will become available for
mobile (iPhone and Android)
3) And finally it will become available
for the major consoles.
Are bands from Southern Tasmania featured in
the game?
Ejecter, Enola Fall, Lincoln le Fevre and
the Insiders, The Highlows and Red Rival
are all the Southern Tasmanian bands
announced so far, with more announcements
to come.
There are also bands from Northern
Tasmania and some mainland Australian
bands, that have a Tasmanian connection,
involved with the game.

Will there be the actual drivers to drive as?
Simple answer no.
Rather than limiting the player to taking
on another drivers persona, we are
keeping the profiles free for you to
enter your name or if the prefer, the
driver of your choice.
We saw the use of actual driver names as
redundant, this being because the time
the player spent competing as the other
driver lasts from the menu screen until
the first corner of a stage, after that
its back to the player's skill to drive
the car rather than the rally champion.
Unfortunately, changing your name to 8
times Targa Champion Jim Richards wont
make you drive like him.
